Business Beyond Disasters training program – register your business today

 

To boost preparedness and resilience in facing future disasters and disruptions, the NSW Reconstruction Authority (RA) is encouraging businesses and non-profits to join the free Business Beyond Disasters program.

 

The new start date for Business Beyond Disasters is Monday 5 May 2025, and this free online course runs over 10 weeks.  

 

Business Beyond Disasters delivers free online training delivered by Resilient Ready, specialists in business and community risk reduction and resilience. A recording of our recent Business Beyond Disasters webinar is available to help explain the course and its benefits.

 

Registrations are open.

 

During the course, participants will engage in 10 weekly 5-minute eLearning modules on topics such as operating through disasters, financial viability, evacuation triggers, and disasters can bring opportunities. The Business Beyond Disasters eLearning modules are designed to enable participants to think and do differently, with weekly online check-ins to connect and share insights with other participants, and links to key support resources and services.

 

This Disaster Ready Fund project is funded by the Australian Government and NSW Government.  The program is designed to complement and build upon state-wide approaches and campaigns being delivered by the NSW Reconstruction Authority, NSW SES, and other organisations.

 

NSW businesses located outside of the Northern Rivers are also welcome to register for this free online program.
