The Lismore Lantern Parade invited Lismore businesses to decorate their windows with lanterns, lights, projections and props following the 2023 Lantern Parade theme – Gates of Renewal, or they could go Italian .. LisAmore! The results were wonderful, with 14 businesses participating. Judging took place earlier this week, and the winners will be announced on FaceBook at 6pm this evening (23 June).
Unfortunately, unforseen circumstances will mean that the actual award presentation won’t be happening on the Heartbeats Stage tomorrow, but will instead be presented to the winning businesses early next week.
A huge thank you to the judges who were out and about in very chilly conditions but all said that everyone’s windows were beautiful, and certainly brought some light and cheer to the CBD.

And after the parade? You can take a stroll and see the Enchanted Windows, warm up with a delicious meal or a cocktail at at one of the many businesses who will be open. And of course, don’t forget to support the businesses who will be open during the afternoon.
